ZoomInfo's own pricing FAQ says its price doesn't start at $15,000, even though procurement firm Tropic reports a $14,995 annual Professional+ benchmark and Vendr reports a $33,500 median annual contract. Those are buyer data points, and they aren't prices every customer must pay.

There is a second buying route that changes the calculation. ZoomInfo's GTM AI service publishes pay-as-you-go data credits, free starting credits and API and MCP access without a seat fee. A GTM leader choosing between an SDR prospecting platform, an account-based marketing program and a data feed for AI workflows shouldn't treat these as the same purchase, because the meter, the contract and the owner all differ. If the real question is how big a market is rather than who to contact, our market intelligence software guide covers research and market-size tools next to ZoomInfo.

On this page

How much does ZoomInfo cost?

ZoomInfo pricing plans: what each sales tier includes

How do ZoomInfo credits work?

What drives the full ZoomInfo bill above the base quote?

What does ZoomInfo GTM AI cost?

ZoomInfo pricing calculator: model the credits, not a made-up seat price

Which ZoomInfo plan should a GTM team choose?

Is ZoomInfo worth the price for a revenue team?

How do ZoomInfo contract length and renewal terms work?

How should you evaluate ZoomInfo before signing?

Where The GTM Lead fits after a ZoomInfo signal

ZoomInfo pricing FAQ

How much does ZoomInfo cost?

ZoomInfo's paid sales and marketing subscriptions require a tailored quote, while publicly reported contracts span far more than one fixed starting price. Vendr's procurement marketplace reports a median of $33,500 per year based on 1,577 observed purchases. Its displayed transaction range runs from $7,240 to $156,042. That's a market benchmark, not an official quote or a promise that your team will land near the median.

The two kinds of price evidence should remain separate. ZoomInfo's official pricing FAQ rejects the $15,000 starting price, and its pricing page says the price depends on features, the number of licenses and credit usage. Tropic's August 2026 analysis of negotiated software contracts reports specific legacy package benchmarks, but those package names and included seats shouldn't be assumed to match every current Copilot quote.

Annual median in Vendr's observed purchases

$33,500

Tropic's reported Professional+ annual benchmark

$14,995

Published GTM AI price per AI credit

$0.05

GTM AI data credits included at signup

1,000

Budgeting rule: treat a reported annual price divided by 12 as a monthly equivalent, not proof that ZoomInfo will sell you a cancel-anytime monthly subscription. ZoomInfo's SEC filings describe subscription commitments that generally run one to three years, with payment often made annually, semiannually or quarterly in advance. Your order form sets the actual commitment and billing cadence, and it's the only document that does.

ZoomInfo pricing plans: what each sales tier includes

ZoomInfo currently advertises ZoomInfo Professional, Copilot Advanced and Copilot Enterprise for sales. All three are quote-based on its US pricing page. The principal difference for a revenue team is how much intelligence and workflow capability sits on top of prospecting data.

The plan comparison identifies the tier where the capabilities are listed. The prices are intentionally marked as quotes because ZoomInfo doesn't publish a current list price for these named editions.

ZoomInfo ProfessionalCustom quote per contract

Contact and company profiles, search and exports

Mobile numbers and business email

Prospect lists, alerts and custom tagging

CRM integrations, Chrome extension and mobile app

AI email generation and personalization

Copilot AdvancedCustom quote per contract

Everything in Professional

Account Fit Score and buyer intent signals

Website visitors and champion tracking

Buying group indicators and go-to-market plays

Copilot EnterpriseCustom quote per contract

Everything in Copilot Advanced

Custom intent signals and competitor alerts

Advanced workflows, reporting and custom integrations

Copilot chat, AI account summaries and a dedicated customer service manager

Current plan names and inclusions: ZoomInfo US pricing page, checked October 18, 2026. They're valuable as negotiation reference points, not a current public rate card or an exact rename map for Copilot tiers.

Reported ZoomInfo package

Annual benchmark (USD)

Credits reported by Tropic

Important limitation

Professional+

$14,995

5,000 bulk credits, 3 seats

Observed entry package, not a floor

Advanced+

$29,995

10,000 included plus 1,000 per user per month

Included seats and current scope must be quoted

Elite+

$35,995

10,000 to 20,000 included plus 1,000 per user per month

Copilot add-on pricing can vary

Tropic also describes a $2,500 annual list-price benchmark for an additional user and $9,995 for Global Data. Neither figure is what your new contract will charge; each one's a reference point. You'll need to confirm them against your order form. Ask ZoomInfo to specify whether your Copilot features are included or separate.

How much do ZoomInfo's marketing plans cost?

ZoomInfo's marketing plans cost a quoted amount, because ZoomInfo doesn't publish a US dollar price for them. Its live pricing page currently names Marketing Demand, ABM Lite and ABM Enterprise, which should be evaluated against campaign delivery and the sales handoff rather than against a sales seat count alone.

ZoomInfo marketing plan

Published included credits

Published intent topics

The GTM job it addresses

Marketing Demand

75,000

25

Build audiences, activate campaigns and alert sales

ABM Lite

Not separately stated

100

Add display and paid-social activation to Demand

ABM Enterprise

150,000

Unlimited

Expand display coverage, reporting and account targeting

Marketing Demand centers on audiences, campaign activation and sales alerts. ABM Lite raises the intent-topic limit to 100, while ABM Enterprise doubles the included credits to 150,000 and removes the topic cap. Have the vendor write down who owns audience changes, who receives the intent signal and who verifies that an SDR or AE followed through.

How do ZoomInfo credits work?

A standard ZoomInfo export credit is consumed when a user exports a contact or company profile from the platform or through a supported integration. ZoomInfo's pricing FAQ specifies one credit per export and says credits can be purchased beyond the contracted allowance. Searching for a record is free in practice, but exporting it isn't.

For a field team, count actual usage events rather than multiplying the number of reps by an arbitrary monthly lead target. A rep who researches 100 accounts may export only 20 contacts; a CRM enrichment job may consume credits without the rep opening a prospecting screen. Confirm the rules for shared bulk credits, recurring user credits, API exports and any expiration provisions in the signed order.

The distinction matters when product marketing changes an ideal customer profile. An ICP revision can trigger a large replacement list, followed by enrichment and a refreshed handoff into Salesforce or HubSpot. The useful budget line is therefore new records exported or enriched per quarter, alongside the number of people with licenses.

How are GTM AI MCP credits different?

GTM AI uses separate data credits for record enrichment and AI credits for account research and other agent calls. ZoomInfo's developer documentation says search, lookup and find-similar calls don't spend credits. A new record enrichment consumes one data credit, while most account and contact research calls cost five to 15 AI credits. The pricing page's FAQ gives a wider range of roughly 1 to 20 credits per AI action, depending on depth.

An important integration detail can change the real bill. ZoomInfo's docs say some older subscriptions contain monthly recurring credits that can't fund MCP calls, which draw from bulk data credits instead. A team planning to bring ZoomInfo into Claude or ChatGPT should verify its bulk pool and access permissions before treating an existing Sales license as already covering its agent workflow.

What drives the full ZoomInfo bill above the base quote?

ZoomInfo's total contract amount rises with licensed users, export volume, added intelligence, data geography and the integrations in scope. Buying only the main platform and buying a usable GTM workflow are sometimes different budget decisions.

The price that matters is the signed order total Ask for the platform subscription, named user count, bulk and monthly credit allowances, each add-on, integration fees, data geography, payment schedule, renewal notice and renewal uplift on separate lines. A verbal discount isn't a contract term, period.

Seats and permissions. Identify the SDRs, AEs, RevOps admins and marketing users who genuinely need access. Sales managers who only consume reports probably don't need the same access as a rep building lists. ZoomInfo's published license terms also address named users, so confirm how reassignment and added seats are charged.

Export and enrichment credits. Model a normal quarter, a launch quarter and a territory rebuild. Get a written top-up price; that part is non-negotiable. Then ask what happens to unused credits. Don't assume a published GTM AI price applies to credit blocks purchased under a sales subscription.

Intent and account signals. Professional includes contact prospecting; Copilot Advanced lists buyer intent, website visitors and buying groups. Copilot Enterprise lists custom intent and competitor alerts. Ask whether your specific intent topics, refresh frequency and regions require an add-on.

Connections and activation. Native CRM connections, API requests, bulk enrichment and campaigns create different usage patterns. Require a worked example showing a selected account moving from ZoomInfo into your CRM, then to an owned SDR task, without duplicate records or duplicate credit charges.

Global coverage and support. A price that assumes a North America list won't necessarily cover the markets your AEs sell into. Tropic reports a $9,995 Global Data benchmark, but availability and scope depend on the written agreement. Check support, onboarding and implementation services in the same pass, since they're often priced separately.

What does ZoomInfo GTM AI cost?

ZoomInfo GTM AI has a published pay-as-you-go offer: 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits at signup, top-ups from $20, no seat fees and no contract on the self-serve offer, plus separately quoted enterprise volume plans. It provides data access through API, MCP and CLI rather than replacing the full sales and marketing application.

ZoomInfo's GTM AI pricing page shows these list amounts. Promotional first-purchase discounts change, so the figures are standard amounts before promotions.

ZoomInfo GTM AI purchase

Listed cost (USD)

Effective price per credit (USD)

Scope

500 data credits (ZoomInfo's worked example)

$215

$0.43

Small CRM list refresh

5,000 data credits ($1,000 spend tier)

$1,900

$0.38

Larger enrichment batch

2,000 AI credits

$100

$0.05

Research and agent actions

At the listed AI credit price, a $100 block of 2,000 AI credits supports about 200 research requests if each uses 10 credits. The documentation's typical five to 15 credit range would instead produce roughly 133 to 400 requests. That's a usage illustration, not a guaranteed call allowance. Record the calls your own team makes during the pilot; they're the only reliable basis for a credit budget.

The volume tiers affect a repeat buyer's real cost. Ten purchases at the 500-credit rate would come to $2,150, compared with $1,900 for 5,000 credits bought at once. The larger block only saves money if the team uses those credits before they expire, and the expiration rules are where the pricing page contradicts itself.

GTM AI's official page also presents a limited-time 70% discount on a first data-credit purchase (5,000 credits shown at $570 instead of $1,900). Don't use a promotional price as a permanent unit-cost assumption. Enterprise packages add annual volume pricing, mobile phone data, SSO/SAML, custom limits, dedicated account management and SLA-backed support.

Are GTM AI credits reusable or transferable?

GTM AI's documentation describes record reuse within a 12-month window under Records Under Management, but its pricing page contains conflicting statements about the treatment of free accounts and credit expiration. One section says credits never expire while an account is active; its FAQ says credits expire 12 months after grant and limits the record reuse benefit to Enterprise. The docs describe organization-wide reuse more broadly.

Don't budget the reuse benefit into a free account until ZoomInfo confirms the entitlement in writing. Also ask whether your existing subscription's pooled credits can be used through MCP and whether its entitlement rules differ from new self-serve purchases.

ZoomInfo pricing calculator: model the credits, not a made-up seat price

A sound ZoomInfo cost estimate separates the quoted subscription from measurable consumption. Without a real proposal, no public calculator can truthfully produce your Professional or Copilot Enterprise contract price.

The calculator below uses only GTM AI's published flat $0.05 per AI credit to show the cost of agent research credits. Its fields are explicit so Finance can check the arithmetic rather than approve a number assembled from internet estimates.

Annual cost component

Input Finance must obtain

Example of the decision it changes

Base platform

Signed SKU and annual charge

Professional vs Copilot Advanced

User licenses

Included seats, additions and transfer rules

Which SDRs and AEs need paid access

Export allowance

Bulk credits, recurring credits and top-up price

Monthly list building and quarterly territory resets

Additional products

Intent, global data, campaign and integration SKUs

Which teams can act on the signals

Services and renewal

Setup, billing schedule and later-year uplift

First-year cash and next-year budget

Formula: annual contract cost = base subscription + incremental licenses + purchased credits + add-ons + services. Divide by 12 only for a monthly budget equivalent. Add negotiated renewal uplifts to future-year projections rather than using today's annual figure indefinitely.

Compare competing ZoomInfo quotes using the same annual term, geography, active seat count and required credit allowance. A lower annual quote with half the export pool looks cheaper, but it isn't necessarily a better deal. Ask Finance to calculate annual cost per validated contact handed to an owner, then use the same definition across proposals. Don't divide the platform price by every database record shown in a demo.

Which ZoomInfo plan should a GTM team choose?

The right ZoomInfo package depends on whether the primary job is finding buyers, choosing the right accounts, activating ABM campaigns or enriching records from an AI workflow. Start with the work the team has to complete, then request the smallest tier that does it. Don't pay for signals nobody's assigned to act on.

An SDR needs prospect lists, phone numbers and CRM exportQuote ZoomInfo Professional; verify credits and seat minimum in writing

AEs need intent, website visitor signals, buying groups and prioritized accountsQuote Copilot Advanced and verify the specific signals and integrations

RevOps needs custom intent, advanced workflows and tailored reportingQuote Copilot Enterprise with named entitlements

Marketing owns cross-channel ABM activation and sales alertsQuote Marketing Demand or ABM Lite; compare campaign and topic limits

An engineer or GTM operator needs API or MCP enrichment, not a sales workspaceEvaluate published GTM AI consumption credits before a full platform quote

One rep wants to test data quality with minimal commitmentStart with ZoomInfo's free trial (typically 7 days, no credit card) or the free ZoomInfo Lite version before requesting a paid quote

The launch-readiness test that pricing pages miss

An account signal has value only if the field can use it correctly. Consider a product marketer launching a new package: RevOps updates the ICP, ZoomInfo finds accounts that fit, marketing creates an audience and SDRs receive a new prospect list. None of those steps guarantees that AEs and CSMs know the approved package language or which discount claims to avoid.

Assign four owners before buying the expanded plan: RevOps owns account and credit definitions; marketing owns signal and audience criteria; sales leadership owns follow-up; product marketing owns the approved field message and readiness checks. Put a measurable acceptance test on every handoff. For broader content, training and certification choices, see our sales enablement software comparison.

Is ZoomInfo worth the price for a revenue team?

ZoomInfo is worth a negotiated annual contract when the incremental gross profit attributable to its data and signals exceeds the total cost and the team can show how it acted on those signals. The price alone can't establish ROI, especially if existing CRM data already covers much of the target market.

G2's current GTM Workspace - Powered by ZoomInfo profile shows a 4.5 out of 5 rating across 9,188 reviews (checked October 18, 2026). Its AI-generated review themes include 413 mentions of comprehensive contact information as a strength and 232 mentions of inaccurate data, such as unassigned phone numbers and outdated job titles, as the top complaint. Those counts are topic mentions. They aren't a measured error rate. See the G2 pros and cons and Capterra ZoomInfo Sales reviews for the underlying user feedback.

A realistic pilot starts with a sample of target accounts in your own segments. Count the contacts a rep can reach, not the number of fields the database returns. Record invalid titles, wrong regions, phone coverage and duplicates separately. Then measure whether an SDR uses the signal, whether the AE gets useful context and whether the opportunity progresses.

Break-even example, not a forecast: at $33,500 in annual spend and $10,000 in incremental gross profit per won deal, four genuinely incremental wins would cover the software cost. The gross-profit assumption is hypothetical. If sales can't attribute additional wins to this workflow, don't treat time saved or records exported as booked revenue.

How do ZoomInfo contract length and renewal terms work?

ZoomInfo's 2026 quarterly SEC filings say subscription contracts typically run one to three years, are non-cancelable and are billed in advance on annual, semiannual or quarterly schedules. Payment installments don't, by themselves, make a contract month to month.

ZoomInfo's public License Terms and Conditions (version of May 1, 2025) say the agreement isn't cancellable and leave the initial term to the ordering document, but they contain no renewal clause. Tropic describes a default 60-day auto-renew notice in ZoomInfo contracts that buyers often get shortened or removed. Your signed ordering document sets the actual deadline, so read it before the first invoice, not before the first renewal.

Put the renewal date on the approval checklist Before signature, obtain the signed order form and incorporated terms. Confirm the renewal notice deadline, the address or method for written notice, any uplift, the extension length, exit rights, seat reassignment and what happens to exported data after expiration. Set an internal review date well before the contractual deadline.

For procurement, the most valuable negotiation may be a right-sized credit pool and predictable additional-seat rates rather than an eye-catching percentage discount. Vendr describes average negotiated savings of about 22% on its tracked deals, while Tropic reports substantial variability across contracts. You won't get either number by default. Ask for a second quote with fewer licenses, a shorter term and only the features you'll deploy in the first 90 days.

How should you evaluate ZoomInfo before signing?

A useful ZoomInfo trial tests the exact GTM handoffs that justify the license. Have sales, marketing and RevOps run the same sample instead of evaluating isolated demos with unrelated data.

The following sequence gives a buyer an auditable acceptance test before Finance approves a full annual commitment.

Define the ICP and the pilot set

Select 50 target accounts across your real markets. If the team only needs a small number of enriched records inside an agent, GTM AI's metered plan may be sufficient. If account intent genuinely changes territory priority and sales follow-up, a higher sales tier can be justified by measured usage rather than feature promises.

Where The GTM Lead fits after a ZoomInfo signal

The GTM Lead is a release enablement acknowledgement tool, not a ZoomInfo alternative. ZoomInfo helps teams identify accounts and prospects; The GTM Lead helps product marketing confirm that SDRs, AEs and CSMs have read an approved release brief and answered a readiness check before speaking with customers.

What these tools don't confirm

Ship the change. A brief can contain approved messaging, do-not-say caveats and a short check. The service doesn't replace a prospect database, CRM, sales engagement platform or full learning management system. Its published prices start at $29 per month for up to 50 recipients, with a $79 monthly Growth plan for up to 250 recipients; these are separate product costs, not ZoomInfo plan estimates.

ZoomInfo pricing FAQ

The most important ZoomInfo pricing questions concern actual contract value, credits, minimum seats and the boundary between a sales subscription and metered API access.

How much is ZoomInfo per month?

ZoomInfo doesn't publish a fixed monthly price for Professional or Copilot plans. Vendr's $33,500 median annual contract is about $2,792 per month as a budgeting equivalent, not a month-to-month offer.

Does ZoomInfo require three seats?

ZoomInfo doesn't publish a seat minimum, but Tropic's reported Professional+ entry package includes 3 seats. GTM AI separately offers 1,000 data and 1,000 AI credits at signup, with different access and usage rules.

How much is ZoomInfo API pricing?

ZoomInfo API pricing is usage-based on GTM AI, which publishes API and MCP access with data credits from published volume tiers and AI credits at $0.05 each.
